As with all of the Scholar Tree learning workshops and programs, our directive is led by two main goals: Fun & Safety. Our Art Class is no exception – safety & fun followed by learning.

Fun

Although all of our Workshop classes are guilty of being aimed towards fun learning, you will find The Scholar Tree art program even more exciting than the others due to the abundance of amazing activities!

Safety

We adhere to all national safety policies and consistently conduct risk assessments to maintain maximum security and protection of all students. Every child has the right to feel and be safe, which gives them the freedom to pursue their goals.

All art workshop projects are supervised and we use no dangerous or sharp objects.

Our approach to Arts and Crafts

At the Scholar Tree, our programs focus on a relaxed and friendly learning atmosphere designed to build confidence and create good memories of education.

We seek to bring out the inner artist of students by giving them the chance to explore the arts world on their own terms.

Our Arts Crafts Workshop is the perfect example of a fun practical activity your children can participate in. We try to help them take away something positive that they will remember for years to come.

A relaxed culture and history enrichment program

The laid back atmosphere during our Workshop program allows students to aim for their own artistic goals with a helping hand. We think it’s first important to establish a love for art before moving on to the history of it – this increases memory retention of our lessons significantly!

Various artistic techniques covered

We offer something to pursue for every student in this class, whether they like to draw or create a fantastic presentation using a computer – everyone has a creative side and we want to bring it out.

During the Workshop we offer the opportunity to students to go down many different routes and learn various techniques, from brush control all the way to observational skills. What we have found with this approach is many of our students will find their own path for independent art, growth & learning.
